Neptune + Landytech: investment intelligence meets the family’s wider work

Landytech’s Sesame platform provides investment intelligence and has introduced agent capabilities. A useful Neptune deployment complements that capability with clearly scoped operational coordination.

THE PRACTICAL COMPARISON

Two roles. One better workflow.

Compare the role each system can play. Capabilities overlap; the useful test is whether this combination improves your office’s actual process.

AI already belongs in the comparison

The research reviewed Landytech’s investment data, analytics, reporting and recent agent announcements. Neptune should be evaluated against those current capabilities, rather than against an outdated idea of a dashboard-only incumbent.

Bring the wider office into view

Neptune includes governance and household tasks, source evidence, philanthropic goals, entity permissions and a shared obligations process. A team can use this operating workspace while investment specialists continue using Sesame for their investment data and analysis.

Combine them through a bounded report

An authorized operator exports the permitted report, imports holdings or balances into the selected entity and keeps the original in the vault. Neptune analyzes only the context permitted by the operator’s role. Agent-generated tasks remain proposals until a human applies them.

Avoid ambiguous execution claims

An AI-generated recommendation is not an approved payment. A journal export is not production posting. A bank submission is not settlement. The combined workflow should preserve these distinctions across both systems. Current Neptune connectivity is file-based or its scoped import API.
