Neptune + Eton Solutions: extend the operating system you already have
Eton’s AtlasFive combines broad family-office capabilities, and its AI products are part of the competitive baseline. Neptune’s case must rest on a concrete complementary workflow, not a claim that existing platforms have no intelligence.

Two roles. One better workflow.
Compare the role each system can play. Capabilities overlap; the useful test is whether this combination improves your office’s actual process.
| Dimension | Eton Solutions | Neptune |
|---|---|---|
| Core role | AtlasFive brings investment, accounting, entities and office workflows together, with EtonAI capabilities. | A shared operating workspace connecting entities, evidence, obligations, tasks and permission-aware agents. |
| Records to bring | Selected entities and operational records the authorized operator can export. | CSV, XLSX or JSON previews, field mapping, validation and duplicate review before a confirmed import. |
| Best place to start | Keep the source system and the controls your office assigns to it. | Coordinate one external advisor workflow and measure whether the extra workspace reduces friction. |
| Agent authority | Source access follows your provider contract, role and export permissions. | Temporary, scoped, revocable access for ordinary records and imports. Humans retain financial approval. |
| Connection today | Obtain an export through an authorized operator or permitted agent. | Portable file imports and the Neptune API. A native Eton Solutions connector or ledger write-back is not implemented. |

Respect the breadth of AtlasFive
The research reviewed investment, accounting, entity, document, workflow and service capabilities. An office that relies on these capabilities should keep its official books and established controls intact.
Where a second workspace can help
A bounded shared workspace can bring together external advisors, family projects and obligations whose source evidence arrives from several systems. Neptune gives that process a visible owner, entity scope, exact approval and completion record. This is a positioning hypothesis to measure in a real office, not a claim that AtlasFive lacks every equivalent feature.
Start with one closed loop
Choose one capital call or governance deadline. Import the permitted operational records, upload source evidence, assign tasks and compare the actual time and exceptions with the existing process. Add Neptune only where the combined process is demonstrably easier.
Keep responsibility explicit
Eton remains the authoritative system wherever your office designates it. Neptune’s settlement journal is an exportable operational record; an accountant reconciles or posts it into the official ledger under existing policy. Current connectivity is authorized export and import, not an implemented AtlasFive write-back API.

Bring one workflow into orbit.
Start with the example office, then create a private workspace and import a permitted export.
